I'm putting a stop to my
shameful Chuck binge-watching marathon to write a post. The weather is
finally turning somewhat decent and it puts me in the mood for a little
colour. Also to get outside, but first about the colour! I think spring
makes most makeup wearers want to crack out some colour so here are some
(mostly) old goodies you might even already have in your drawer that
may want to see the light of day once more.
Shall we continue straight onto evening skin care? I think you’ll remember a few familiar faces, and by faces I mean products, from my morning skincare routine. But fear not, there are some new...faces... too.
I reckoned it was about time to dive into skincare. I have extremely sensitive skin. My face will burn if I put the wrong thing on it. So it’s taken a long time to even start to figure out what to put on my finicky bastard of a face. I’ve bought so many skincare bits over the years that I really wanted to try because everyone talked about how great they were, but I just can’t use so many of them without reacting. So the solution that I’ve come to for now is to be realistic about what my skin can take and keep it super simple. I stick to skincare brands tailored to sensitive skin – mostly French pharmacy brands.
Well dayyuuumm. That’s what I have to say about this one. I have Bare Minerals Matte, Pur Minerals, Everyday Minerals Matte mineral makeups, as well as Makeup Forever Duo Mat Powder Foundation and I definitely like the Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation the most.
Whenever I’ve looked for a basic brush set online I’ve had trouble finding one that I think really has everything you’d
need. So I thought I’d show you guys what brushes I find the most useful when I'm doing my makeup.
