Hello everyone! Today I hit 1000 Bloglovin' followers. As I hinted in my 100th post, I wanted to give something back to you guys for the next milestone. So here it is: The Bite Beauty Best Bite Remix Set. This set seems to be sold out everywhere, but I happened upon one in a quieter Sephora location and I thought it'd be perfect for a giveaway. Onto the gushing now.
These past few months have been pretty exciting for me. Seeing this blog go from being nothing to slowly becoming part of a community is an amazing feeling. Sometimes I don't quite register it, but sometimes I look at my blog and think “my God, look at the amount of people actually getting involved.” I particularly want to mention how much I appreciated the comments I received on my post about anxiety. They really proved just how amazing this community is. I was given nothing but support and kindness from everyone and it actually touched me (and I'm not that sappy or emotional of a person). So thank you guys! Thank you to everyone that has read my posts, commented on them and even gone so far at to write about my blog. Enjoy the giveaway, which timed quite nicely with the Christmas holidays might I add!

The best thing is the cosy and calm atmosphere on Christmas Eve when the lights on the Christmas tree are lit and Christmas carols are playing. That's just magical :)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about the holidays is that its completely normal to have a gigantic, gaudy tree right in your living room. I'm always so bummed to take it down and tempted to just, you know, casually have a tree in my house year round.
Congrats on the milestone, you are doing so well and your blog is amazing. I love spending time with my family, this year more so then any other years as I have been away from all my loved ones since the beginning of summer, so I am extremely excited to see them all again next week :D x

ReplyDeleteThe best thing about Christmas is definitely the escape from reality of work and school the little break we get provides. Christmas break is like a little bubble in which nothing bad happens and you're relaxed and you spend time with family and wear ridiculous sweaters. Plus, you get presents for just chilling around in your too thick socks.
Let me think... The best thing about christmas is the food and going to the pool in the night (here's too hot in christmas day)...

Definitely the atmosphere! Everybody is so joyful and friendly I feel. While normally you just kind of rush through the day, people start taking the time to wish you happy holidays and smile much more I've noticed.

I've always loved Christmas. When I was younger I just couldn't wait to get the presents but now what I really enjoy is giving them, specially when I know it's something that person really wants.

My favourite part of Christmas is preparing all the food together before the 24th ( In sweden we celebrate the evening of the 24th ) and then sitting down to enjoy the result of combined efforts! ReplyDeleteI think my favourite part of Christmas is getting all the decorations out and spending tie as a family decorating. Also the food that comes out around Christmas is amazing, especially Hickory Farms foods, but that's a Canadian thing. :)
I love the build up, the shopping, making decs and preparing food, watching the kids get more excited as the big day gets closer. It's magical!
